In partnership with Missouri Foundation For Health, Metro Trans Umbrella Group & Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region & Southwest Missouri are proud to present
TRANSforming Community, TRANSforming Care.
This program expands health care services, conducts trauma-informed research, and builds a sex education curriculum centering the needs of the gender expansive community. This program is designed by and for the trans and non-binary community and extends gender affirming care to all Planned Parenthood locations in the St. Louis, Springfield and Joplin areas.
Earlier this year I shot the ad campaign that will run for the next four years to promote this program across the state.

It's done, and everything that needs to be said, has been said.
Finding Humor In Plight is a collection of autobiographical short stories from the first thirty years of my life. Domestic abuse, mental disease, drug addiction, psychedelic exploration, and grief processing steer much of the content. These works mainly represent a personal catharsis that I've chosen to share publicly as I've reached a turning point in processing my own grief around certain life experiences. While much of this writing process has been focused on my own healing, I sincerely hope these words can be beneficial to others.
This is dedicated to Aiden, Brune, and Dunaway.
The ones who saved me.
While this content will never be put behind a pay wall, if you enjoy what you read and would like to donate to my career as an artist you can do so via PayPal at sarah.rue.photography@gmail.com
50% of all money received will be donated to Metro Trans Umbrella Group.
Finding Humor In Plight is available now to read online or for digital download.
